they're team is becoming more well rounded again... it excites me.
Well rounded? They just got better offensively, that's it, the PHX trade hurt them defensively big time. Pietrus was there best perimeter defender, now gone and who's going to fill the middle when Howard gets into foul trouble now that Gortot is gone? Not to mention the biggest part of this, Arenas, who's played like what barely 60 games going back to 07 due to injuries and suspensions? That's some nice baggage. I did find it funny that they wouldn't pay Hedo the money he wanted a couple of seasons ago when he was putting up big numbers, not he's making half of those numbers and they'll be paying him what they would have then.
This was a better trade for them. I like the move.

Pietrus was a great on ball perimeter defender, none of the new players are.
Hedo has sucked this year as well, and Richardson is at best a streaky shooter who has lost his explosive first step.
VC and J-Rich are close to being the same player. Both are shells of their former selves, only Richardson can shoot better and VC can still get to the basket some.
i dont think this was a great trade, unless Earl Clark lives up to his potential and plays lockdown D.

Orlando isn't done... I still think they'll make another move since they let Gortat go. They almost have to.

Duhon is a good defender, Bass is a great defender, D-Howard is a phenomenal defender, but nobody that can step out and guard the bigger 2s and 3s.
Bass and Howard are down low guys and Duhon can play against PGs, but now they have no one to guard guys like LeBron and Wade.

I put faith into Otis Smith... he'll make a move for someone else. I still think he's not done shaping his team.
i would have faith in Otis Smith too, I think he is the second best personnel guy in the NBA.
He isnt Gregg Poppovich and the SA crew, but they are right behind.
